“Stopped by Wakha Restaurant in Al Barsha for lunch today and had a genuinely excellent experience from start to finish. The service was warm, attentive, and efficient without being overbearing—exactly what you want during a lunch visit. The food was outstanding: fresh, flavourful, and clearly prepared with care. The Kabuli Pulao was a highlight—perfectly cooked long-grain rice topped with sweet raisins and carrots, beautifully balanced and not greasy. The meat dishes were equally impressive: tender, well-seasoned, and served hot, with that comforting “slow-cooked” richness you hope for. The grilled chops were juicy and satisfying, and everything paired well with the fresh bread on the table. Overall: great hospitality, excellent freshness and quality, and a meal that feels both hearty and refined. If you’re in Al Barsha and want authentic, well-executed Afghan/Pashtun-style food with strong service, Wakha is an easy recommendation.”
