“I ordered a Toffee Nut Matcha and was charged correctly. When picking up the drink, I double-checked and was clearly told by Sushmita, the barista who prepared it, that it was Toffee Nut Matcha. I drink this regularly and immediately noticed it was just a regular matcha. When I mentioned it, Sushmita checked with the cashier and only then said the Toffee Nut syrup was actually out of stock. What bothered me most was being confidently told it was the correct drink when it wasn’t, and there was no apology at that moment. A male staff member later handled the situation very professionally, checked the stock properly and was polite, which I appreciated. Mistakes can happen, but staff should be honest and transparent with customers instead of giving incorrect information face-to-face.”
