“I had a truly disappointing experience at this restaurant. I ordered the truffle ribs pizza, warak enab pizza, and a soft drink. They served the warak enab pizza and brought the soft drink in a cup — it tasted strange, so I asked them to bring the can instead so I could open it myself. To my shock, the can they brought was expired. When I pointed this out, they brought a new one, but the staff showed no real concern or apology for the seriousness of the issue. I immediately requested to cancel the truffle ribs pizza, which had not yet been served, and asked to pay only for what I had eaten. I paid and left — completely disappointed and honestly surprised that such negligence can happen in the UAE, where standards are usually high. This is not something I take lightly, and I will be raising the matter to the concerned authorities. Serving expired food or drinks is a serious health risk, and the lack of accountability is unacceptable.”
