The Kana Cafe, Motor City / First Avenue Mall

“I visited Kana Café twice during my time in Dubai, and my experience was mixed. On my first visit, the service was excellent — the staff were attentive, friendly, and everything flowed smoothly. However, on my second visit, the service wasn’t as good, and the difference was noticeable. I tried several items on the menu. The Sahlab was good — warm, comforting, and well-made. The Om Ali was also good — it wasn’t exceptional, but it definitely wasn’t bad; it had a pleasant, enjoyable flavour. The Chicken Tawook was nice and tasty, with good seasoning and a satisfying portion. Overall, Kana Café has some good dishes, but the service can be inconsistent depending on the day. I’d still consider going back, hoping for the great service I experienced the first time.”
