“The Egyptian restaurant near Al Barsha, close to the Mall of the Emirates, has recently opened and its already getting quite busy. The atmosphere is lively but can feel crowded and noisy, and parking around the restaurant is also a challenge. The food itself is tasty and authentic, and you’ll probably enjoy the flavors. However, the prices are on the higher side considering the portion sizes — especially the rice, which came in a noticeably small quantity. All of this cost AED 150 for food, two waters and two Barbican juices. Overall, it’s a decent place to try if you’re craving Egyptian food, but expect smaller portions, higher prices, and a lively (noisy) atmosphere.”
