“We often visit Karasaram when we crave south Indian food, they serve the dindigul style seeragasamba biryani with dalcha, the portion size is decent and it'll easily serve two. Big fan of their Madurai style parottas and salna, they were extremely soft and crispy at the right way and served with salna they were a treat. In our latest visit we tried their nattukozhi soup and it was an absolute delight, my five year old loves their kalakki. Earlier we had tried their meals, Chennai style fried rice and kolas and liked them. They also serve a small portion of white rice with buttermilk or rasam if you ask, my five year old managed to get a pappadam and an extra bowl of payasam. We were served by an extremely patient south indian gentleman from theni and it's a shame we didn't get his name, he was an excellent host. We usually visit on weekends and it can be a bit crowded on those days and you might have to wait for five to ten minutes before you get a table. Wish they expand and add more tables. A must try if you are fond of authentic Madurai style / south Indian food.”
