“Double Charged, Refund Never Done, Now They Are Denying It This situation is completely unacceptable and dishonest. I was charged twice on my card at this branch. Initially, the staff and management CONFIRMED it was a double payment and promised the money would be returned to my account. It has now been OVER TWO MONTHS, and no refund has been received. I contacted the McDonald's Complaint Center multiple times, and every time I was told they are “doing the needful” — yet nothing ever happens. What makes this worse is that the branch staff are now changing their story and denying that it was a double payment, even though they previously acknowledged the mistake. This backtracking shows a serious lack of integrity and accountability. At one point, I was even mocked over the phone, being told I had “overlooked my account” instead of receiving proper support. Taking a customer’s money, admitting the error, failing to refund for months, and then denying it ever happened is beyond unprofessional. ⚠️ Check your card statements very carefully if you visit this branch. I do NOT recommend this location and will be proceeding with a bank chargeback and consumer protection escalation.”
