“Our visit to Lavant Park was generally pleasant, and the concept of the place is nice, but several shortcomings reduced the overall enjoyment. One major issue was the barbecue setup. BBQ spots are very few, and anyone who arrived later in the afternoon had no chance of finding one. The staff encouraged sharing grills, which are quite small and not practical for more than one group, resulting in long waits and constant interruptions. The park also suffers from poor organization. Even though there is plenty of staff on site, there was no clear system to manage crowds, BBQ areas, or seating, which made the experience feel chaotic. Another downside is the lack of a smoke-free environment. Shisha smoking is widespread, and there are no dedicated non-smoking sections, making it uncomfortable for non-smokers. Additionally, the children’s play area was extremely crowded, leading to frequent disagreements among kids. Parking spaces are limited, especially during busy hours. On top of that, the attitude of some staff members was disappointing, as they came across as unfriendly and unhelpful. Overall, Lavant Park has strong potential, but with better organization, clearer policies, and improved staff interaction, the experience could be significantly improved.”
