Pepe’s Piri Piri. The exact place that stole my heart back in the UK. I literally stopped, turned around, and couldn’t believe my eyes. This was the same spot I used to visit every Friday in Gants Hill, Essex, for my favourite mango and lime or lemon and herb grilled chicken. Finding it here in Dubai felt like stepping straight into a memory from home, but even better. From the moment I walked in, I was warmly greeted by Niraj, whose customer service was exceptional from start to finish. I told him immediately how excited I was, and he responded with a warm smile and genuine hospitality. The restaurant was spotless, inviting, and filled with customers, yet everything ran smoothly and efficiently. I ordered six grilled chicken wings in mango and lime and lemon and herb. They were perfectly seasoned, juicy, and bursting with flavour. The texture and taste were even better than what I remembered from the UK. I added sweet potato fries to my order, something most UK branches don’t offer, and they were absolutely delicious. Crispy, fresh, and full of flavour. I was amazed by how much more the Dubai menu offered. Mojito drinks, large and regular Cokes, a wide range of meals, and even desserts like cake with ice cream. The kids menu was well planned and full of great choices. Everything showed real attention to detail. What impressed me most was how busy the restaurant was, yet the food still arrived quickly, hot, and perfectly cooked. The team greeted every customer with friendliness and professionalism. They smiled, they helped, and they created an atmosphere that made the whole experience even better. Finding Pepe’s Piri Piri in Dubai was the highlight of my day. The flavours were outstanding, the service was excellent, the restaurant was clean, and the menu was full of amazing options. It truly felt like paradise to enjoy one of my UK favourites right here in Motor City. I give this place 50 stars. Absolutely fantastic. I will definitely be returning.”
