“Review: Trio Service Today, I ordered 5 drinks: • 2 Matcha • 2 Matcha Passion Fruit • 1 Chocolate cold drink The total bill was almost 186, which is not cheap, so I expected better service and flexibility. My niece asked to add cream to the matcha drink, and the staff refused. I asked why, and the only explanation given was that it goes against their “place standard.” This makes no sense. If I want to add cream to my matcha, what exactly is the issue? I’m the one drinking it, not the barista. I even said I was willing to pay extra, yet the request was still refused. Customer preference should matter. Anywhere else in Dubai, if you ask to add cream, they will add it. Refusing such a simple and reasonable request is unacceptable. On top of that, the barista’s behavior was awful — rude, unprofessional, and completely unfriendly, with a blank attitude and no effort to explain things politely. To make matters worse, preparing just these 5 drinks took over 15 minutes, even though the place was almost empty — it was only us, plus two customers who were already seated and had already been served. Because of this place and all Trio branches are a big X for me. If a business cannot respect reasonable customer preferences, provide basic hospitality, or deliver timely service, then it is simply not worth visiting. Never again.”
