“Great service, great location, but disappointing food for the price. Detailed review. The Cheesecake Factory at Dubai Festival City is in a fantastic location facing the promenade, and the service was excellent as always. We were seated almost immediately on the outdoor terrace, and staff were attentive throughout. We ordered the Madeira Chicken and Cajun Salmon. The Madeira Chicken, which was highly recommended by the server, was unfortunately disappointing. The presentation was poor, with mashed potatoes splattered across the plate. More importantly, the chicken was overcooked and slightly burnt in places, leaving a bitter aftertaste. The Madeira sauce lacked balance and tasted overly vinegary, missing the depth you’d expect from such a popular dish. The mashed potatoes were under-seasoned and could have used more cream, while the asparagus was overcooked and soggy rather than fresh and crisp. Overall, this dish could be significantly improved. For the price, the food was only average. I didn’t try the Cajun Salmon myself, but my friend enjoyed it. Final thoughts: Service and ambience were great, but the food didn’t justify the price. This was my second visit, and I don’t think there will be a third.”
