Kokoro Hand Roll Bar (Al Serkal Ave)

“The absolute best meal I’ve had in Dubai since I moved here in November 2025, considering we eat out pretty much every other day. The quality of the ingredients, their preparation and assembly, seems simple, but it really feels as if you are somewhere between a trendy soho spot in NYC and a little gourmet fast eatery in the heart of the Tsukiji fish market in Tokyo. Everything was delicious, even something as typically mundane as an avocado roll. What a cool concept. We tried almost all the hand rolls and several nigiri’s, everything was absolutely impeccable. In fact, we were super hungry because we had to wait an hour next door where we ended up snacking substantially, but we just kept eating and eating, it so addictive. The only thing missing was sake, and we would have never left 😂✌🏻 but obviously this is not a penalty. I have only one singular point of critical feedback, it is that the bathrooms have an extremely intense odor which really knocked us back (I’m not exaggerating one bit, had to get out and hold my breath for duration of use) hence our atmosphere 4 stars since it’s confined which is still high. Hopefully it’s an easy fix, but not enough to deter me from visiting again, we will be back often! NOTE: we sat at the bar counter by request and happily waited longer as table seating does not appear to be a full experience.”
