“We have visited Il Forno more than once. This time we decided to order takeaway, and to put it mildly, we were disappointed. We understand that this restaurant is not in Italy and that the menu and dishes are not truly authentic, but adding jalapeño peppers to the “Street Style Pizza Sandwich” is simply too much. As a European, I honestly don’t recall jalapeños being used in any Italian cuisine at all. There was more than a handful of jalapeños in just one piece, and we ended up throwing the second one away. How is it possible to add so many jalapeños? Everything in the mouth was burning, even the lining — there was no taste to enjoy at all. What makes it worse is that the Street Style Pizza Sandwich was ordered for my child, and the waiter didn’t even warn us or ask any clarifying questions. We won’t be coming back.”
