Abo Ali Restaurant & Cafe - Al Garhoud

“09 January 2026, Friday Night. This was one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. I waited almost an hour for my food while numerous staff members kept walking past our table without offering any help or explanation. I followed up on my order several times and was repeatedly lied to, first being told it would be served in “2 minutes,” then “5 minutes,” and during the last follow-up, I was told they were already preparing it, which clearly was not true! Despite waiting patiently, the delay was so unacceptable that I completely lost my appetite. I did not even check the menu upon arrival because I traveled from far away and specifically chose this restaurant, expecting a good experience. Unfortunately, I strongly regret that decision. When the food finally arrived after almost an hour, it was not properly cooked and had a very strong fishy smell, as if it had been rushed just to be served. This was a REALLY BAD EXPERIENCE!!! The quality of service was extremely poor, and the way the staff spoke and handled the situation was very disappointing! This will definitely be my last visit to this branch of Abo Ali.”
