Pakistan Association Dubai (PAD) stands as the world's largest community center for overseas Pakistanis, serving as a vibrant cultural and social hub in Oud Metha since the late 1960s. Located on 11th Street in Bur Dubai, this non-profit organization welcomes people of all nationalities to participate in its diverse range of cultural events, welfare services, and community programs. From Independence Day celebrations and traditional mushairas to Ramadan iftar dinners and meena bazaars, PAD creates meaningful connections while promoting Pakistani culture in the UAE. The centerpiece of PAD's community services is the Pakistan Medical Centre (PMC), the GCC's first not-for-profit multi-specialty polyclinic. Serving over 88,000 patients from more than 92 nationalities annually, PMC offers subsidized healthcare across specialties including pediatrics, dentistry, gynecology, cardiology, ENT, ophthalmology, and physiotherapy. The center operates from 8:30 AM to 9:30 PM daily, with a Friday prayer break from 1:00 to 2:00 PM. Beyond medical care, PAD hosts professional wings for engineers, journalists, and accountants, along with recreational activities, workshops, and language classes. The facility features well-maintained prayer rooms, clean event spaces, and ample parking for 65 vehicles, creating a welcoming environment that has earned recognition including a Guinness World Record for the largest UAE flag created with handprints from over 100 nationalities.
