About

Mirdif Park is a sprawling 1.5 million square foot recreational oasis in Dubai's Mirdif district, offering free admission and serving as a beloved community hub since 2011. Located conveniently beside Spinneys supermarket along Uptown Mirdif, the park sits just 12 minutes from Dubai International Airport and provides easy access to nearby attractions including Uptown Mirdif Mall and Dubai Festival City. The park caters to fitness enthusiasts with impressive facilities including a 400-meter cushioned running track, two well-maintained basketball courts, tennis and volleyball courts, and a football pitch. Families enjoy dedicated children's playgrounds with equipment for ages 2-5 and 6-12, a water play area, and wide green spaces perfect for picnics. The landscaped gardens feature winding pathways lined with shaded seating areas, creating peaceful spots for relaxation beneath the trees. Open daily from 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM (until 11:30 PM on weekends), the park attracts families, grandparents, and fitness enthusiasts seeking outdoor recreation in a tranquil setting. Clean public restrooms, ample parking, and well-lit areas with courteous security enhance the visitor experience. The park is particularly pleasant during Dubai's cooler months, offering a calm escape where visitors can watch planes soar overhead while children play and groups gather for leisurely afternoons in the heart of Mirdif.

Reviews

This park is a nice little gem in the heart of Mirdif. It has everything you want in a park: walking track, playground, volleyball, tennis and basketball courts, and a football pitch. The reason it’s only 4 stars is there are a lot of cats, even though there are several signs that say don’t feed them. And so, often several parts of the park smell like cat poop, which is a real downer since all of the other stuff is really great.
