Jameel Arts Centre stands as Dubai's premier independent contemporary art institution, offering free admission to a world-class cultural experience along the scenic Jaddaf Waterfront beside Dubai Creek. Housed in a striking 10,000-square-meter building designed by Serie Architects, the three-storey centre features white aluminum-clad architecture inspired by traditional Gulf sha'abi homes, complemented by seven courtyards with desert gardens that reflect local and global biomes. The expansive galleries showcase curated exhibitions from the Art Jameel Collection, regional and international collaborations, and new commissions across flexible spaces, including 1,000 square meters dedicated to large-scale installations and artist films. Beyond the galleries, visitors can explore the open-access Jameel Library housing over 3,000 volumes on Gulf artists and cultural movements, browse the art shop, or enjoy the rooftop terrace with creekside views. The adjacent Jaddaf Waterfront Sculpture Park features permanent outdoor installations, while a 200-seat amphitheater hosts performing arts and film screenings.
